Luminescence Efficiency of Mesogenic Europium(III) Complexes and their Composites with Polymers According to Quantum-Chemical Simulation

The results of quantum-chemical simulation the molecular structure and excited states some mesogenic europium(III) (Eu(III)) complexes liquid-crystalline (LC) (co)polymers are provided. These objects represent components currently relevant composites with a hybrid structure, unique optical magnetic properties for optoelectronic devices. relationships between geometric parameters, LC properties, luminescence efficiency Eu(III) &beta-diketones Lewis bases have been studied. calculated values lowest singlet triplet were used to determine channels inter- intramolecular energy transfer levels polymers complexes. data allowed select subsequent synthesis creation effective materials.
